Working with Hannah

Hannah works with clients on a 1-1 basis as well as offering help for businesses and team leaders. (If you are an employer, please click here.)

Everyone has different stress triggers, stress levels and personality preferences. Therefore each approach is tailored to the individual. 

Simple Life Coaching is a holistic blend of stress management and traditional life coaching, time management tools, goal and boundary setting, relaxation coaching (learning how to relax) and lifestyle coaching. 

The relationship between Coach and Coachee is fundamental to successful coaching outcomes. Hannah always approaches her clients with empathy, kindness and a listening ear. It is important for everyone undertaking any coaching journey to find the right Coach for them. 

Hannah is a Stress Management Coach, not a Therapist or Counsellor. If Hannah believes that a client requires additional help then an onward referral to either the client's GP or another professional service will be recommended. Any such additional help can be undertaken alongside stress management coaching. 

Coaching sessions usually take place in Green or Blue Spaces and always in a confidential setting. If you are local to Oundle, Stamford, Peterborough or Kettering then in-person coaching sessions are recommended. This can be at a location of the client's choice from a list of suggested locations which can be found hereCoaching via Zoom is also possible.

The number of sessions required will depend on the individual client's needs.

Holistic Stress Management

Based on personal experience, academic learning and research, Hannah has developed a holistic, multi-modal approach to help her clients manage their stress. 

Rather than solely focussing on one aspect of the individual or just the stress trigger itself, Hannah's holistic model ensures that her client's lifestyle provides all the support required in order to deal with the challenges that life brings.

Every client's situation is different and therefore every coaching approach is different and uniquely tailored to the individual. Some clients may not need to address all aspects of the model and may benefit from focussing in on a select few. This will be assessed and discussed during the initial coaching session before a plan of action is agreed. 

By taking this holistic approach, Hannah's clients are better able to prevent and manage any future periods of stress for themselves.

Working with the Seasons

Not only does most of Hannah's coaching take place in green or blue spaces, but Hannah also uses the seasons to guide her approach when helping her clients.

When we actually slow down and observe what nature is doing in any given moment and look to mimic it ourselves, we can alleviate much of the stress and the expectations that we place on ourselves.


When we ground ourselves in nature we immediately feel more at peace. We can teach ourselves to be patient and to be kinder to ourselves. Hannah uses the seasons to help clients build effective self care routines.
